ELIANE TOKESHI
Violin
Violinist Eliane Tokeshi's multifaceted career encompasses performances as a chamber musician, soloist and pedagogue. With a bachelor's degree from State of Sao Paulo University, Ms. Tokeshi continued her studies at Boston University and Northwestern University, where she completed, respectively, master's and doctorate courses in violin. She has performed several premieres of works, a consequence of outstanding work aimed at valuing the Brazilian and contemporary repertoire. Ms. Tokeshi has recorded the CDs Works for Violin and Piano by César Guerra-Peixe (YB label), Sounds of Americas as a member of Núcleo Hespérides (SESC label) and Fragments of a Solar Winter with the Trio Tokeshi-Rosas-Bazarian (ProacSP). Associate Professor at the Department of Music at the University of São Paulo (Brazil), Ms. Tokeshi is, currently, a guest artist of EEMS at University of Texas, Austin, sponsored by the Brazilian agency FAPESP.
DENIZ ASLAN
Electronics
Deniz Aslan is a composer and a bassoonist specializing in new music. He was born in 1997 in Ankara, Turkey. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in composition from Bilkent University under the supervision of Tolga Yayalar. As of 2025, he is a DMA student and an Assistant Instructor at the University of Texas at Austin and continuing his studies under the supervision of Januibe Tejera. Deniz has worked with ensembles such as Arditti Quartet, Black Pencil, Yurodny Ensemble, Collegium Novum, HANATSUmiroir, United Instruments of Lucilin, and his music has been performed in Turkey, United States, Brazil, Italy, and Luxembourg. Deniz was a finalist in the 2023 Prix CIME Electronic Music Competition and the 2021 Balkan Composer Competition in Prishtina.

As a composer, Jiaxin Zhang has composed music for orchestra, chamber ensembles, solo, microfilm, dance, and commercials. She seeks to discover the sonic potentialities of acoustic instruments and explore the intersection between Eastern and Western instruments. Traditional Chinese music, architecture, painting, and other art forms are the main inspirations for her works. Influenced by electronic and spectral music, she is currently experimenting with interdisciplinary collaborations, utilizing multimedia to interpret her musical ideas.

Silvio Ferraz is Brazilian composer, Full-Professor of musical composition at University of São Paulo (USP); Doctor in Semiotics by the Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC/SP); researcher of FAPESP and CNPQ. Author of Música e Repetição: a questão da diferença na música contemporânea, Livro das Sonoridades and several articles focused on Deleuze thought about art, mainly music. He studied composition with Brian Ferneyhough, Willy Correa de Oliveira and Gérard Grisey. His music has been performed by ensembles as Arditti String Quartet, Nash Ensemble, Smith Quartet, Iktus, Taller Musica Nova de Chile, New York New Music Ensemble

TANNER JONES
Tanner jones is a multimedia artist, software developer, and performer currently based in central Texas. their work explores the role objects play in our relationships with memory, consumerism, and loss. tanner additionally performs as a sound and video artist with SoundMap Ensemble and Nofeh, and releases creative software under the name ~degausserDSP. they currently teach courses on sound design and multimedia performance at the University of Texas at Austin, where they are finishing a doctorate in music composition.
