Department of Performing Arts Technology (PAT) is seeking fixed media works for the Ambisonics Concert. The concert will take place on Friday, October 18th, 2024 (Time TBA), at the Chip Davis Technology Studio. The venue features a 3-dimensional immersive audio system that includes a 32-speaker array consisting of Genelec 8050 and 8040 speakers, as well as RCF 8004 subwoofers.
Submissions
Submit either a First-Order Ambisonics (FOA) or Third-Order Ambisonics (TOA) version of the work (48 KHz). The submission must be in WAV file format; Reaper or Max will be used for playback. Works should be between 5 and 15 minutes in duration.
Submit a zip folder using WeTransfer link with the work and a PDF document with the following information: Title of the work, composer, year of composition, duration, program notes and a short biography (max 300 words).

Works selected will be notified by September 30th, 2024.
AttendanceThere is no admission fee. Attendance is not required for whose works are accepted.
